The Collateral team at Better is seeking an Appraisal Coordinator. This role involves modernizing collateral processes and increasing team member productivity. The Appraisal Coordinator will act as a liaison between the origination team and the Appraisal Management Company, identifying product requirements. Responsibilities include opening valuation orders, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and serving as a subject matter expert for teammates. The person will also proactively identify orders that are off-track and communicate with AMCs, appraisers, and Realtors to resolve issues.
