Senior Forward Deployed Industry Consultant, Pharma

Role Overview:

• Operate as an embedded consultant and forward-deployed engineer for a strategic US pharmaceutical customer, co-creating innovative AI and analytics solutions on SAS technology.
• Accelerate time-to-value by applying SAS capabilities to address high-impact sponsor challenges, ensuring sustained capability development and deep business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead time-boxed innovation sprints to design and deliver analytics- and AI-enabled capabilities within the customer's operational environment.
• Design and implement analytics pipelines, AI/ML workflows, and decisioning solutions using SAS technologies and enterprise integrations.
• Bridge industry context and technical execution, ensuring solutions are compliant and usable in regulated pharmaceutical environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with minimum 8 years of experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical consulting or technical solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience building analytics- or AI-driven solutions in complex enterprise environments and ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Clear communication skills to explain advanced analytical concepts in business terms and strong relationship-building skills across organizational boundaries.
