Role Overview:
- The Principal Design Technologist translates design-system standards into clear specifications and coded reference components.
- This role works with Product Design, Product Management, and Engineering to set direction for design-system tools.
- Mentors product designers using code and leads adoption of AI tools across Design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain design-owned coded UI reference libraries that demonstrate intended appearance and behavior.
- Evaluate and create AI-assisted tools that help teams find, apply, and check design-system guidance.
- Partner with front-end engineering to identify recurring differences between designs and implementations.
