Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily bank reconciliations in Xero and manage the [email protected] mailbox.
  • Process supplier invoices via Payhawk, sending them for managerial review, and assist with user billing support tickets.
  • Reconcile customer payments and support month-end closing tasks including prepayments and accruals with team training.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses a basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting, coupled with strong organizational skills.
  • Exhibits curiosity and a desire to learn about accounting and finance within a startup ecosystem.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking to identify misstatements and strong written/verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications & Environment:

  • Holds a business/accounting-related A-level, degree, or AAT qualification and is literate in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Shows a keen interest in process automation and leveraging AI for efficiency in an early-stage, fast-growing company.
  • Works remotely within the UK, engaging directly with the finance team to support the company's next stage of growth.
