The Legislative Information Specialist monitors, analyzes, and communicates legislative and regulatory developments impacting the healthcare education and training landscape. This role ensures timely and accurate integration of legal and compliance changes into healthcare learning content, products, and strategic planning. It requires a blend of legal/regulatory research skills and a deep understanding of the healthcare education environment.
This role involves tracking and interpreting state and federal legislative and regulatory activity related to healthcare practice, licensure, and continuing education. The specialist will summarize and communicate key legislative trends, policy updates, and regulatory changes to internal stakeholders. They will also collaborate with content developers to update educational material to reflect regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance. The successful candidate will maintain a centralized database of healthcare legislative and regulatory changes and provide subject matter expertise for audits and accreditations.
