Senior Project Accounting Specialist

The Senior Project Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing the accounting, billing, and invoicing processes, differentiating between billable and non-billable activities, and categorizing items for accurate invoicing and reporting. You will review, assess, and translate contractual obligations into corresponding revenue activities (rules) under all OpenAir projects to align with project expectations, leveraging in-depth understanding of revenue recognition concepts, including compliance with ASC 606 standards. You will also maintain and update billing rules to generate comprehensive activity reports for logged project hours, manage month-end project invoice activities, and create, review, and finalize project invoices, ensuring accuracy before submission. Researching and educating teams on OpenAir best practices for billing and invoicing. You will plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
