Senior Cobol Developer

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Cobol Developer for a long-term contract. The role involves reviewing and analyzing application planning, design, and testing documentation related to the Inflation Reduction Act. Responsibilities include updating program documentation, researching problems, and providing maintenance responses. The developer will also create, update, unit test, and maintain IBM COBOL programs, rewrite programs, and perform system analysis and programming tasks. They will also compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. The successful candidate will deliver program code changes accurately and in a timely manner, support modernization efforts, and provide independent testing to improve code quality.
