Job Description
Commerce is seeking a Software Engineer for the Storefront Team, a small, distributed team that works with the entire Engineering organization by maintaining BigCommerce’s Storefront Environment, which allows shoppers to browse products and make purchases for all of their merchants' stores. The role involves maintaining and improving services that power the Storefront Environment, supporting bug fixes, and implementing enhancements to applications in Production.
The Engineer will also produce technical documentation of workflows related to the Storefront, work and collaborate with a team distributed between US and EU timezones, and explore unfamiliar languages, tools, and technologies. A BS degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
