Responsibilities:
- Review, assign, and supervise multi-line claim activity to ensure compliance with standards and laws, and manage an individual caseload while supporting team members.
- Investigate, evaluate, and adjust claims, establish reserves, and direct handling of complex and litigated cases, while providing training and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Select and oversee outside vendors, authorize claim payments, and ensure adherence to all corporate and client-specific handling instructions.
Qualifications:
- Required 10+ years of multi-line claims experience with Commercial Auto and General Liability, plus 3+ years of supervisory experience and expertise in policy interpretation.
- Must have proven ability in contract review and complex claim handling, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Nice to have municipal account experience, TPA background, professional designations like AIC or CPCU, and bilingual Spanish proficiency.
