Director of Estimating

This role involves leading the estimating team in preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for EPC renewable energy projects, including solar PV, wind, and battery storage installations. Collaboration with various teams is crucial to ensure estimates align with technical requirements, project schedules, and company objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing the review of RFPs and technical documents, developing standardized estimating procedures, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and regulatory requirements. This position requires managing relationships with contractors, OEMs, suppliers, and vendors, supporting the bid process, analyzing data on costs unique to renewables, and conducting post-project reviews to improve estimating accuracy. Strategic input for project feasibility and proposal development is also expected, along with ensuring document control and compliance.
