Senior Platform Engineer II, Kubernetes

Build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that promotes developer satisfaction and improves development velocity. Define, document and build golden paths for teams to build services in a scalable, secure way. Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, support and drive projects forward. Provide guidance and unblock others on the team while helping others grow through code reviews. Make good, informed decisions around technical debt and tradeoffs. Regularly think about the scrum team's processes and share complex solutions for improvements with peers and management. Required Qualifications include 7+ years of software development experience, experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, experience migrating workloads onto Kubernetes/EKS, experience with CI/CD tools and building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, system monitors, and log aggregation services. Additional required experience include Infrastructure as Code, observability best practices and logging/monitoring tools, AWS systems, writing services in Go, Python, C++ or Java, building scalable internal and public-facing APIs, integrating 3rd party API's, expertise in working with various data storage technologies, knowledge of microservices architecture and agile methods, and proven experience in influencing and mentoring other members of the Engineering team.
