Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

• Join the Home Energy team to build integrations and APIs for batteries, solar, HVAC, and smart meters.
• Report to the Engineering Manager and collaborate with PM, backend engineers, and commercial teams.
• Shape how customers control energy assets through our unified control layer.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain OEM cloud platform integrations.
• Design and evolve home energy APIs for telemetry and controls.
• Improve observability and vendor performance, and participate in triage rotation.

Who You Are:

• An ambitious backend engineer who owns work end-to-end, from ambiguous problem to production.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and third-party APIs of varying maturity.
• Product-minded, collaborative, and clear communicator across teams.
