Senior Backend Engineer, Compliance Engineering

What You'll Do:

• Shape the future of Reddit by adapting platforms to evolving privacy, security, and regulatory landscapes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build trusted, compliant experiences for millions of users.
• Own product areas end-to-end from design to launch, influencing strategy.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years backend development experience with Go, Python, Postgres, Redis, and distributed systems.
• Experience as a tech lead on projects with 3+ backend engineers.
• Ability to design complex distributed systems under high load, self-directed and bias towards action.
