Job Description
This role involves leading a cross-functional team responsible for Kraken's card experiences, ensuring the delivery of high-quality consumer applications with a focus on usability, performance, and scale. The Engineering Manager will collaborate with Product Managers and Designers, aligning frontend and backend efforts to define and deliver impactful features.
The role also requires championing engineering excellence, maintainable architectures, and code quality, as well as mentoring engineers to foster technical growth, collaboration, and inclusivity.
Additionally, the manager will leverage agile processes, project tracking, and engineering metrics to strengthen team organization and delivery. This includes guiding a team of Frontend (React/React Native) and Backend (Rust) engineers to deliver seamless, performant user experiences that power Kraken’s card products. The manager will also own the UX for card features across Kraken’s products on mobile (React Native).
