Job Description
The ER Lawyer oversees Montu’s Employee Relations frameworks, processes, and practices, ensuring they are practical and compliant with regulatory and legal standards. Acting as the internal Subject Matter Expert, this role provides expert guidance and technical advice on complex ER matters and personally represent Montu as our in house counsel. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including the People Partnering team and people leaders, to execute ER initiatives effectively.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic guidance on ER cases, conducting investigations, advising on ER-related risks, representing Montu in legal proceedings, developing and updating ER policies, and enabling the People & Talent team with structured frameworks. The role also involves managing government compliance submissions and identifying ER skill gaps.
