Regulatory Claims Substantiation Scientist

Essential Functions:

• Review in-depth scientific evidence of biological effects of ingredients.
• Propose revisions to claims substantiation documents per DSHEA and FDA/FTC guidelines.
• Develop expertise in biochemistry, pharmacology, and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or master's in life science with 3+ years regulatory experience in dietary supplements.
• Knowledge of DSHEA and 21 CFR 101 and 111 regulations.
• Skilled in scientific writing and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Contributions in First Year:

• Understand current regulatory risk tolerance and align substantiation standards.
• Complete product claims substantiation review for the portfolio.
• Improve knowledge management practices for regulatory content.
