Role Overview:
- This role owns the Internal Platform Infrastructure program, driving the platform and integration layer for Thumbtack's operational teams.
- It involves partnering with Engineering, Security, IT, Procurement, Data, HR, and business stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Sales, Service, and Trust & Safety.
- The position is a highly technical, strategic, AI-forward delivery leader behind the company's internal tooling technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program manage identity, access, and security initiatives spanning SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and compliance tooling rollouts.
- Drive enterprise AI platform evaluation and deployment, including LLM-based agents, governance models, and security controls.
- Coordinate data and workflow infrastructure initiatives across ETL/reverse ETL, system migrations, and business-critical integrations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Technical Program Management within infrastructure, platform, enterprise systems, or IT organizations.
- Strong technical fluency with authentication/identity patterns, infrastructure concepts, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
- Experience with complex, integrated tooling stacks and proven vendor management covering RFP/RFI processes and evaluations.
- Practical fluency in modern enterprise AI concepts and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
