VistA MUMPS Developer

VetsEZ seeks a senior VistA MUMPS Developer to contribute to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Data Management (HDM) project. This involves managing software products, middleware platforms, system integrations, and health data integrations, with a focus on the VistA electronic health record system. Responsibilities include writing, modifying, and maintaining clean, scalable MUMPS code for the VistA system. The role also involves implementing new functionalities based on user requirements and proposing system enhancements. Maintaining system performance and addressing security vulnerabilities and integrating VistA with other healthcare systems are important parts of the job. Seamless data exchanges using HL7 and other protocols will be necessary. The role also includes designing, developing, and managing databases within the VistA environment, providing technical support and troubleshooting issues.
