Senior Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage land acquisition and permitting processes, including negotiations with stakeholders.
• Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders such as permitting authorities and elected officials.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and grid connection teams to optimize project designs.

Experience:

• Proven track record in utility-scale renewable energy development, with at least 7-10 years’ experience in BESS, solar, wind, or grid-scale infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of energy markets, grid connection processes, and regulatory frameworks governing renewable energy and storage projects.
• Demonstrated leadership in project development, managing multiple large-scale projects and delivering on key milestones.

Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision makers across government, regulatory bodies, and the private sector.
• Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to develop business cases, evaluate project economics, and present recommendations to executive leadership.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to investors, regulators, and corporate leadership.
