  • The Development Manager plays a critical role across Energy Vault’s front-end development activities, acting as the single point of ownership for progressing acquired utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from early development through to Ready to Build (RTB).
  • This role is execution-focused and accountable for driving development outcomes across planning approvals, grid connection, and development risk management across a multi-state Australian portfolio.
  • While supported by specialist internal teams and external consultants, the Development Manager is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, proactively identifying issues, managing approvals and grid interface risk, and optimizing development processes as required.

  • Support the execution of client engagements ranging from pre-NTP development through post-NTP construction and closeout.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects on track against scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Conduct technical and financial analysis of solar PV and energy storage projects across C&I and utility-scale markets.

  • Manage the execution of multiple transmission, substation and distribution projects.
