Job Description
The OfferUp Catalog team is responsible for the key infrastructure that allows users to efficiently post items on our platform and make them available for potential buyers. Our team leverages various technologies and workflows to provide a meaningful user experience to our sellers and manages the core foundation and data used by the rest of the application. The team manages some of the highest TPS services within OfferUp. At many organizations, your role begins and ends with the code. On our team, we’re different. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and/or iterations of existing features. Contributes to developing the technical strategy for Catalog platform/features. Develops, tests, releases and documents code using best software engineering practices to ensure timely service delivery and ease of maintenance. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Identify, track and find solutions to software defects identified both internally and externally.
