Systems Architect

Architecture & Technical Leadership:

• Serve as a senior technical leader across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams.
• Define and maintain solution architectures aligned with business objectives, mission outcomes, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and technology evaluations; develop architectural roadmaps for modernization and scalability.

Artificial Intelligence & Data Strategy:

• Lead the integration of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into mission workflows, including LLMs, RAG, intelligent search, and summarization.
• Establish architectural guardrails for Responsible AI, explainability, model governance, and data protection.
• Partner with product owners to identify AI opportunities that improve investigator, adjudicator, and analyst productivity.

Cloud & Platform Engineering:

• Design and oversee architectures deployed within AWS GovCloud and approved government cloud environments.
• Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible; define standards for containerized workloads, Kubernetes/EKS, and serverless technologies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve reliability, observability, performance, and cost optimization.

Security & DevSecOps:

• Ensure solutions align with Zero Trust principles, DoD cybersecurity requirements, and federal security frameworks.
• Architect secure identity and access management (ICAM, federation, RBAC) and partner with cybersecurity teams for ATO and continuous monitoring.
• Promote engineering best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and technical debt management across development teams.
