About the Role:
- Oversee a team of freelance writers, editors, copyeditors, and medical reviewers.
- Own the editorial workflow from assignment through publication.
- Maintain best-in-class standards while consistently hitting our monthly publishing targets.
What you’ll do:
- Manage, and mentor a network of freelance writers, editors, and copyeditors; assign projects, provide clear feedback, ensure timely delivery, and maintain strong working relationships that support quality output.
- Contribute editorial insights to content planning; identify opportunities to improve content quality and performance.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in digital content and editorial operations.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven success managing editorial teams, production workflows, and content calendars at scale.
- Ability to edit for clarity, accuracy, tone, and brand voice.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems and publishing platforms.
