The Role:
- Own the full lifecycle of extraction models: framing, data/annotation strategy, model selection, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Define accuracy with stakeholders and build the evaluation harness.
- Partner with Clinical Data Managers on curation design and QA/QC.
What We're Looking For:
- Healthcare or life sciences experience with real clinical data (non-negotiable).
- 6+ years in applied ML with production experience.
- Depth in ML on text: NER, classification, sequence labelling, weak supervision, and LLM-based approaches.
