Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all piping engineering functions, including pipe stress analysis, piping standards, and pipe support design.
  • Perform pipe stress analyses using software like AutoPIPE, evaluating systems for thermal, seismic, and dynamic loads.
  • Design and specify pipe support systems, including spring supports, restraints, and hangers.
  • Develop and maintain piping material specifications and selection philosophies for high-temperature and cryogenic applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or structural engineering with 10+ years of piping engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, and other relevant codes.
  • Experience with pipe stress analysis software, preferably AutoPIPE.
  • Bonus points for a PE license or experience with 3D plant design software.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $130,000-$200,000 per year plus equity and benefits.
