Staff Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and expansion of the data platform, including ingestion pipelines, data warehouse/lakehouse architecture, and serving infrastructure.
• Define engineering standards and architectural patterns for data infrastructure, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate data needs into scalable platform capabilities.
• Drive technical decisions on tooling and frameworks for the data stack, and mentor engineers to enhance team quality and long-term maintainability.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in data or platform engineering with a track record of building and scaling data infrastructure across multiple domains.
• Deep expertise in a major cloud data ecosystem and modern data stack tooling, with strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and/or Scala/Java.
• Ability to operate at both strategic architectural and hands-on implementation levels, with strong communication skills to influence technical direction and align stakeholders.
