- Serve as lead tax advisor to asset management clients including private equity, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and private credit funds.
- Advise on complex partnership taxation, fund structuring, tax compliance, and investor-related tax considerations.
- Oversee delivery of high-quality tax services while managing risk and collaborating with specialists in state, local, and international tax.
Business Development & Practice Growth:
- Develop and execute growth strategies for the Asset Management Tax Practice.
- Expand relationships with existing clients and cultivate new business opportunities within the alternative investment marketplace.
- Build relationships with fund sponsors, investment managers, attorneys, and bankers through thought leadership and industry participation.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax professionals across all levels of the practice.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, innovation, and client service.
- Recruit and retain top talent and provide technical training to support professional development and succession planning.
Strategic Practice Leadership:
- Partner with firm leadership to establish strategic priorities for the Asset Management Tax Practice.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging tax issues impacting the sector.
- Drive innovation in service delivery, technology utilization, and client experience initiatives.
