Android Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Extend a customized Launcher in a large modular monorepo and build Compose UI for home screen, widgets, and new features.
• Find and fix ANRs, crashes, slow starts, and memory issues from evidence (Perfetto, Crashlytics, Play vitals).
• Ship features behind Remote Config and A/B tests, then act on results; contribute to shared core library.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional Android development with solid fundamentals in lifecycles, coroutines, memory usage, permission handling, and DI (Koin).
• Sound app architecture: MVVM with single source of truth, lifecycle-aware data flow, and root cause fixing.
• Production Jetpack Compose experience, effective communication across time zones, and ability to work with AI coding tools.

Compensation:

• Salary range from $2,800 to $3,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
• Full-time contract through a payroll platform, working remotely for our client.
