Senior Engineer

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design and architecture of scalable and performant full-stack solutions. You'll provide technical guidance to engineers on best practices and advocate for your team's needs. You will assess feasibility, explore user needs, define product features, and validate ideas with prototypes. You will implement observability practices across the platform, including logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system reliability and performance. This involves improving workflows, processes, and tools and ensuring seamless integration across systems. Analyzing performance metrics and incorporating user feedback to drive optimization efforts, creating technical documentation for architecture and development processes, and identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks are essential components of the role. Act as a key contributor to the hiring process.
