Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical ownership of warhead, energetic payload, or munitions hardware through design, qualification, and production.
  • Define payload architecture and decompose system requirements into interfaces and verification evidence.
  • Manage interfaces among energetic payloads, fuzing systems, mechanical structures, and weapon platforms.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 10+ years experience, or Master's plus 8+ years.
  • Experience with system-safety, hazard-analysis, and safety-evidence practices for energetic hardware.
  • Expertise in modeling and simulation tools such as Ansys, MATLAB, Hydrocode, or CTH.

Desired Skills:

  • Leadership on fielded or government-qualified warhead or munitions programs.
  • Experience with insensitive-munitions strategy and survivability assessment.
  • Background with government laboratories or munitions-development organizations.
