Field Medical Advisor

The Field Medical Advisor role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing relationships within the medical community, including healthcare practitioners, policy makers, payers, and healthcare administrators to ensure understanding of our science and data and to gather beliefs, information, and thoughts from across the healthcare ecosystem. This role is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through the peer-to-peer scientific exchange of Moderna’s mRNA platform science, fostering trust, and encouraging engagement through personalized and digital interactions. The Field Medical Advisor plays a key role in establishing our share of thought and insight concept with the medical and healthcare community. In this role, you will be at the forefront of Moderna’s mission to deliver new mRNA-based therapies and vaccines, requiring a blend of scientific expertise, strategic thinking, strong internal collaboration, and a commitment to ethical engagement. You will develop and execute territory engagement plans, utilize excellent communication skills, gather medical intelligence, and engage with stakeholders across the medical and healthcare community. Actively participate in healthcare communities, continuously develop your knowledge, utilize digital and AI-powered tools, and work closely with internal teams to contribute to training efforts. Continuously building and maintaining strong relationships with Moderna stakeholders across various functions. The position requires fluency in English, proficiency in digital technology, and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
