Role Responsibilities:
- Solve complex military planning problems by developing an end-to-end planning tool with a focus on user experience.
- Travel to partner with global military planners, empathize with their needs, and translate insights into design solutions.
- Work across UX, UI, and user research, defining new features and shaping the design system with team support.
Team Collaboration:
- Report to the Head of Product Design and work fluidly across specialized squads like geospatial and ICAM.
- Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and founders, with flexibility to evolve the role over time.
- Collaborate iteratively, sharing ideas with leadership and taking accountability for real-world outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
- A deep-thinker with a strong aesthetic sense, curiosity, and low ego who masters design fundamentals and latest tools.
- Has experience in creative support, data visualization, or modern collaboration where innovative design was vital.
- Is a U.S. citizen, self-starter, and lifelong learner with high ethics and an interest in defense technology.
