About the Team and Role:
- Small engineering team working on challenging problems with a culture of constant learning and improvement
- Engineers design extensible APIs and abstractions, using continuous deployment for fast iteration
Responsibilities:
- Build and iterate on consumer-facing AI features powered by LLMs and generative AI
- Collaborate across the AI engineering stack on prompt engineering, agentic workflows, and evaluations
- Run A/B tests and offline evaluations to measure impact on engagement and quality
Minimum Requirements:
- Availability during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm Pacific)
- 2025 or 2026 graduate with B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in CS or related field
- Strong understanding of ML math foundations and experience with LLMs or transformers
