Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage multiple cross-departmental projects involving business process changes, software solutions, and IT implementations.
  • Lead academic and administrative departments, technical staff, and user communities through campus-wide IT projects, using traditional and Agile/Scrum approaches as needed.
  • Work outside normal business hours when project demands require, reporting to the Director of IT Strategy, Project and Portfolio Management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience with knowledge of project management principles and IT project implementation in complex organizations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, facilitation, collaboration, and customer service skills to handle multiple tasks and influence others.
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and technical skills to understand software applications, databases, networks, and project subject areas like accounting or payroll.

Preferred and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and experience in higher education are preferred, along with PMP and Scrum Master certifications.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and education verification is required, and this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
