Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of robust software tools and systems.
- Contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of DSPE software, data, cloud, and automation systems.
- Create and maintain system architecture and infrastructure documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in a highly regulated environment (CLIA/FDA) and 3 years in a Software Engineering or DevOps team.
- Demonstrable experience developing custom production software, ideally in high-throughput settings.
Skills:
- Excellent Python programming with bioinformatics or genomics applications.
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as Batch, ECS, S3, EC2, and HealthOmics.
- Proficiency in RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Git, Linux, and automation solutions.
