Senior Product Design Manager, AI

You’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of AI-powered developer tools at GitLab. As a Senior Product Design Manager for AI, you’ll lead a team of talented Product Designers who are building the next generation of intelligent software development experience. This is a pivotal role where you’ll guide both the strategic vision and day-to-day execution of AI product design across our entire platform. You’ll be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of 5 AI Product Designers while working closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and Technical Writing teams. Your team will tackle complex challenges like designing intuitive interfaces for AI agents, creating seamless chat experiences for developers, and establishing design patterns that make advanced AI capabilities feel natural and accessible. You’ll be based remotely and work with teams across multiple time zones.
