Engineering Director - Core Infrastructure (AU Remote)

In this role, you will be part of a team that accelerates and unblocks Canva engineers by reducing everyday friction and cognitive load. We provide stable and reliable PaaS, intuitive self-service capabilities, and a single entry point for tooling and services. Your work will directly impact the productivity and efficiency of Canva’s technology teams, helping them deliver high-quality features faster. Key responsibilities include: Lead and align multiple teams by coaching engineering managers, setting a clear mission and strategy, and ensuring alignment with Canva’s broader goals. Deliver cross-team impact through ownership of complex projects, scoping technical problems, and driving successful execution across groups.
