Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing the services that power the core rental platform for a company built by renters for renters. You’ll collaborate closely with a talented team to build scalable, efficient backend systems that improve the experience for both property listers and renters. Responsibilities include Designing, building, and maintaining back-end services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and improve features for property listers, writing high-quality, performant code primarily using Ruby on Rails and Java/Kotlin as well as deploying and managing services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Take ownership of projects, advocate for best practices, and seek simple, scalable solutions. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and engineering trends to continuously improve our stack.
