Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Kiln, you'll join our Infrastructure team (10 engineers) to build robust and scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with Protocol, Smart Contract and Software Engineering teams to create tools and environments that ensure fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure and plays a key part in scaling Kiln’s core platform. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, multi-cloud & bare metal infrastructure as well as building internal tools and platforms to streamline development workflows. Ensuring high service reliability, uptime, and smooth inter-service communication plus maintaining strong infrastructure security practices and compliance (SOC 2) and improving observability, alerting, and performance monitoring are key. You'll guide architectural decisions and promote infrastructure best practices as well as collaborate with teams to assess risk and ensure robust delivery.
