Researcher

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing interventions to refine GiveWell's view about cost-effectiveness.
• Building cost-effectiveness models to estimate the costs and benefits of a particular intervention.
• Reviewing specific grantmaking opportunities to determine whether or not they should receive funding.

Career Development:

• Researchers have the opportunity to develop into Senior Researchers, who lead the development of research agendas.
• Another potential pathway is to transition into a Program Officer or Senior Program Officer position.
• Senior Program Officers deepen expertise, grow networks, and understand context within a specific grantmaking area.
