Principal Quality Engineer

Quality Strategy:

• Define what quality means at Heartbeat, how we measure it, and how we improve it.
• Own quality outcomes across partner-specific configurations, clinical decision support, and workflow orchestration.
• Establish principles that make quality intrinsic to development, validation, and release.

Validation Architecture:

• Design systems for fast, reliable validation including test data strategies, environment management, and automation frameworks.
• Integrate with CI/CD to give engineers back time by making quality infrastructure a force multiplier.
• Ensure validation is low-friction and provides evidence-based confidence.

Embedded Partnership:

• Sit inside the development process, influencing refinement, acceptance criteria, and what 'done' means.
• Collaborate directly with product, engineering, and clinical leadership as a core team member.
• Perform targeted exploratory testing on high-risk areas like new features, edge cases, and clinical workflow paths.
