Patent Filing Associate (Vietnam Market)

Welocalize is seeking a Vietnam-based patent filing associate firm to support client legal teams in executing jurisdiction-specific patent filing and validation activities. This partnership forms part of a broader multi-country filing program focused on optimizing quality, cost, and compliance in global IP processes. Scope of Work: Handle national phase entry and validation of PCT applications in Vietnam. Collaborate with international legal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions to the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (IP Vietnam). Provide local representation and expert insight into IP Vietnam’s procedural and documentation requirements. Offer guidance on timelines, formalities, and updates related to Vietnamese patent prosecution and filings. Participate in rate discussions and provide transparent pricing (hourly, task-based, or based on official fee structure, as applicable). Selection Requirements: Registered and authorized to act before the Intellectual Property Office of Vietnam (IP Vietnam). Legally permitted to file and prosecute patent applications on behalf of international clients in Vietnam. Demonstrated experience with PCT national phase entries, direct filings, and Vietnamese patent validations.
