Software Engineer I, Fullstack (Trail Data)

Join the Trail Data team at AllTrails and become a key player in our mission to help the world find its way outside. We're a fast-paced, impact-driven team, constantly iterating with ReactJS and Ruby on Rails to enable our team to provide up-to-date, precise, and accurate data on the trail. As a Software Engineer, you'll work closely with members of our trail data team, contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing services, and implementing web components and features to enhance management and quality. You'll analyze and optimize client-side UI and server-side API code, working at all layers of the stack from AWS/Ruby on Rails/SQL to React/HTML/CSS. Take end-to-end ownership of product features, coordinate tasks with teammates, and collaborate with product and quality groups to refine requirements. Identify and squash bugs, working collaboratively as a distributed team using GitHub, Slack, and Zoom extensively.
