Junior Site Reliability Engineer (Remote)

Site reliability engineers are responsible for the availability, efficiency, and performance of our software systems. You will collaborate with software engineering teams and similar groups of technologists as it relates to the design, deployment, and continued operations of their software deliverables. You will have a primary focus on system operations tasks and software engineer support to help increase system reliability and developer productivity. You will report to the Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, and this is a remote position. You'll have opportunity to: Work with Site Reliability Engineers on projects and contribute to project planning Support the efforts of engineers in other domains with infrastructural provisioning, access control, and configuration changes Perform operational work and small changes with assistance and direction from others on the infrastructure team Apply the principles of software engineering and engineering best practices to system operations and administration tasks Automate tasks to improve reliability, repeatability, and scalability Continue to learn and expand your skills, and seek knowledge and feedback from others in the domain on our practices
