School Counselor

Provide students with the tools and support needed to navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and strengthen resilience. Through virtual sessions, counselors work closely with schools to identify student needs, offer individualized support, and promote mental well-being in ways that are both practical and compassionate. Their role creates space for students to be seen, heard, and supported in meaningful ways. School Counselor Requirements & Responsibilities include having a Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field, Utah Department of Education School Counselor certification, and required clearances. Candidates should demostrate ethical behavior, respects policies, takes ownership of responsibilities, works effectively with colleagues, and contributes to a team-oriented environment.
