What you'll be challenged to do:
- Develop substation layout drawings including plan and elevations, yard layouts, grounding, raceway, control building layouts, cable lists, and material lists.
- Prepare calculations, reports, equipment specifications, and manage technical, financial, and scheduling aspects.
- Build and maintain client relationships, mentor staff, and collaborate on proposals.
What you will bring to our firm:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineer License.
- 5+ years progressive experience in design, engineering, and project management in power utility.
- Experience with high voltage substation design, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Inventor.
What we prefer you bring:
- Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability with project management software for scope, schedule, and budget management.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and best practices.
