Job Description
As an Accounting Technician at Vention, you will have the opportunity to work in a world class team with dynamic and talented professionals, assisting with our day to day accounting. In your role, you will perform a wide array of full-cycle accounting functions including the timely and accurate month, quarter and year-end of the company.
You will manage the entry of logistics invoices into accounting system and ensure timely payments. You will also manage accounts payable for internal (non-inventory) purchases. You will participate in rolling out PO processing for non-inventory spend across all departments and support month-end close activities by preparing reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
You will prepare and maintain audit support schedules and respond to auditor requests related to payables, accruals, and reconciliations, and prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax filings, while supporting the finance team in ad-hoc analyses of logistic spend.
