Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct coder QA and education as part of remediation, develop performance improvement plans.
  • Review and prepare documentation for educator feedback sessions and maintain coding resources.
  • Collaborate with management on billing compliance and coding issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; national coding certification (AHIMA, AAPC) required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in physician coding, anesthesia/pain management, surgery, E/M, and ICD-10.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and technical writing skills; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Remote position; must not reside in California, Hawaii, or Alaska.
  • Occasional standing/walking, frequent sitting and hand/finger movements; use office equipment and communicate verbally.
