Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and tradespeople to support welding and fabrication projects for oil and gas infrastructure.
  • Interpret regulatory codes, prepare welding procedure specifications, and maintain accurate traceability of samples and documentation.
  • Conduct welder performance qualification testing and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Welding Engineering or related field, along with ABSA Welding Examiner Certificate and CSA W178.2 Level 2 Inspector certification.
  • Knowledge of welding processes, codes, and ability to interpret technical documentation and laboratory test results.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
