Job Description

In this role, you will partner with exploration and engineering teams to build reliable, scalable infrastructure that makes it easier to turn data and models into real-world exploration insights. You will improve observability, streamline MLOps workflows, and maintain shared tools like JupyterHub that enable faster experimentation and collaboration. Your work will help create a solid foundation for scientists and engineers to focus on discovery instead of infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing, building, and operating compute infrastructure; embedding observability, reliability, and security throughout the software development process; creating and maintaining automation for monitoring, deployments, and incident response; leading or supporting capacity planning; joining the on-call rotation; developing and refining monitoring and alerting; establishing and maintaining disaster recovery practices; and regularly reviewing and improving tools and processes. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role, strong scripting and programming skills, experience with IaC tools and container orchestration tools, experience with cloud platforms, understanding of MLOps workflows, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and thrive in a dynamic environment. Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn about mineral exploration are also desired.
